Something borrowed and something blue.  It may seem like cliche but this old saying or wives tale of every bride having something borrow and something blue at her wedding is one of the most followed traditions of wedding as a whole.  Probably almost as important as You May Now Kiss The Bride.  When it came time for my wedding,  something blue certainly was not a problem as our wedding had blue as part of its theme colors.  We had blue decorations of all types, in fact even our wedding cake topper was colored blue.  Something borrowed,  that was another story.  Until my soon to be mother in law made me an offer I couldnt refuse.  She presented me with the vail from her own wedding dress which was truly stunning.  I said yes to that vail quicker than I said yes to my fiance when he asked me to marry him.
